Blingtron 4999b and the Protectrons Pet Battle

Don't let these robot creeps get the best of you and your pets. They may look intimidating (and have rather difficult and complicated names), but we have the strategies to beat them!

IMPORTANT: It's important to note that Blingtron and his Protectrons are mechanicals who take damage as if they are critters, so using a beast lineup may be a bit tricky. These guys also use a shield that reflects damage plus have an extremely hard hitting attack. In all honesty, this is probably the most difficult of all the garrison pet dailies just due to these facts. Don't worry if it takes you a few tries to win this battle.


Pets to Use:
Direhorn Runt (2,1,1)
Death Adder Hatchling (1,1,1) or Electrified Razortooth (1,2,1)
3rd pet can be anything strong against critters

A Direhorn Runt and Death Adder Hatchling work great here even though they are beasts and therefore take extra damage from mechanicals. You will have to burst these guys down before they burst you down, so STRONG attacks are an absolute must.

Open with your Direhorn
Primal Cry > Horn Attack > Trample > Horn Attack > Trample

At this point Blingtron should be dead.

vs Protectron 022481
Just keep repeating the above sequence until your Direhorn dies, then swap over to your Death Adder Hatchling.

This Protectron will use his hard hitting Ion Cannon attack on his THIRD TURN, so make sure you are ready with Burrow. Other than that, just use Poison Fang and Puncture Wound to kill him.

This final Protectron will use his hard hitting Ion Cannon on his FOURTH TURN, so be ready with Burrow.

If you don't have a Death Adder Hatchling, an Electrified Razortooth (1,2,1) performs incredibly well in this fight and is easier to acquire!


OR

Solo Strategy

If you are one of the lucky few who happens to have a Ruby Droplet, then this entire fight is soloable using a (2,2,2) build. What you want to do is use Drain Blood on CD, Use Bubble to block the Ion Cannon attacks, and use Absorb as filler. This makes for a very long fight, but it is a foolproof strategy and braindead easy.
