Brutus and Rukus Pet Battle

Brutus and Rukus are two boar beast pets who heal between each round and have a lot of health, but overall this is not a very difficult encounter. Use our strategies below to claim victory over these boars... and then have some bacon for dinner! ;)

Pets to Use:
Iron Starlette (1,2,1)
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (1,2,2)
Any other mechanical pet

vs Brutus
Open with Iron Starlette
Wind Up > Supercharge > Wind Up

vs Rukus
Toxic Smoke > Wind Up > Wind Up
Swap to Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling if Iron Starlette dies. Depending on RNG and lucky crits, sometimes Iron Starlette is completely capable of soloing this entire encounter.

Decoy > Thunderbolt > Breath until dead

Brutus and Rukus are beast pets and therefore can be nicely handled with just about any lineup of mechanicals. They have quite a bit of health and heal after every round, but overall this is not a very tricky or long encounter.

OR

Pets to Use:
Skywisp Moth (1,1,2)
Clockwork Gnome (1,1,1)
Any other mechanical pet with strong attacks against beasts

(Note: ANY pet with Call Lightning will work for this strategy. It doesn't have to be a moth but I highly recommend using a moth since Brutus and Rukus do weak damage to flying pets).

Open with Skywisp Moth and Call Lightning

Swap to your Clockwork Gnome
Build Turret > Metal Fist x2 > Build Turret again when it comes off cooldown

Swap back to your Skywisp Moth and Call Lightning again (even if your Gnome is still alive)

From here on out, the turrets will be doing insane damage so you can stay on your moth or swap over to your 3rd pet (can be any mechanical) and just use any attacks you want.
